From 1 to 5 October 2018 will be held at Biarritz, France, the 14th International Symposium on Materials in the Space Environment (ISMSE) that is organised by the French National Centre for Space Studies (CNES), the European Space Agency (ESA) and the French national aerospace research centre (ONERA). David Cheung, ECP’s R&D Manager, will give 2 poster presentations dealing with contamination of space sensitive surfaces by packaging materials and with evaluation of decontamination processes adapted to large optical components.
